With the kind help of many volunteers, Snohomish’s ”cozy home for the performing arts” is still here. Our Open Mic’s every Friday night host a wide variety of performers of all ages. On any given Friday night you’ll find singers, song writers, story tellers, poets and more. We have an active and investing group of volunteers that keep this event staffed. Many thanks go to Cindy Ainsley for coordinating the Friday night Open Mic. Sign up starts around 6:30p.m. and runs until 7:20p.m. when we draw lots to create the performance order for the evening. If you arrive after 7:20p.m. you are welcome to sign up to perform but you will be placed at the end of the list. Sorry. We try to end our evening by about 11:00p.m. to be neighborly.
Kind and generous volunteers have helped us upgrade this 100+ year old facility with improvements to our lighting, heat/air flow, painting, security, gardening and much more. We are a 501c3 which means we are a non-profit organization and your donation dollars can by deducted on your income taxes. Many businesses such as Boeing and Microsoft offer matching funds so if your company might do the same that can be a win win for all.
