Hailing from the coast of British Columbia, Jocelyn Pettit is a vibrant fiddle player, stepdancer, singer and composer.
With grace and passion, Jocelyn delivers an engaging and uplifting performance of original and traditional music, inspired by the Celtic and folk music cultures of Canada's Cape Breton and Québec, Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, and Galicia.
With her band, Jocelyn has ignited stages across Canada and the United States, and across the pond in the United Kingdom and continental Europe. She has performed on national television and radio, performed with Irish super group The Chieftains, and earned multiple award nominations (including World Artist of the Year and Young Performer of the Year at the Canadian Folk Music Awards).
With accompaniment provided by Siew Wan Khoo on piano and fiddle, Joel Pettit on bodhrán, Colm MacCárthaigh on guitar, and Erik Musseau on whistles, the band fuses Canadian and European folk traditions to create a style they call Blazing New-Trad Celtic.
"An incredible fiddle player who blew away the audience with her expertise."

"One suspects we'll be hearing of Pettit for years to come, the next generation of Celtic music is in good hands."
